Your data, handled narrowly

Recruitment involves personal information about people's careers. The principle we work to is simple: collect only what an assessment requires, share it only with agreement, and keep it no longer than it is useful.

What we collect

For candidates: your name, contact details, current or most recent role, location, the discipline you work in, the type of move you are considering, and any CV or professional profile you choose to share with us.

For hiring teams: the contact details of the person making the enquiry, the organisation, and the details of the role or assignment being discussed.

We do not ask for date of birth, nationality, health information, or any other special-category personal data through this website, and you should not include it in a form.

Why we hold it

Candidate information is held so a consultant can assess whether your background matches a live or anticipated assignment, and contact you about it. Client information is held to respond to an enquiry and to run an assignment that follows from it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.

Who sees it

Internally, information is available to the consultants working on the relevant assignment. Your details are disclosed to an employer only where you have explicitly agreed, for a named role.

References are taken only with your authorisation, normally at final stage.

How long we keep it

Candidate records are retained while they remain relevant to the disciplines we work in, and are reviewed periodically. If you ask us to delete your record, we will do so unless we are required to retain specific information for legal or accounting reasons.

Assignment records are retained for the period agreed with the client organisation.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, restrict how it is used, or delete it. You can also withdraw consent for us to represent you.

Requests can be made through the contact page, selecting 'Data or privacy request' as the subject.

This website

This site does not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiling. Web fonts are served from a third-party font provider, which receives the standard request information required to deliver a font file.

Forms on this website are not currently connected to a delivery destination. When that is configured, this notice will state where submissions are routed and who processes them.

This notice describes our working practice. It is not legal advice, and it will be updated as the practice's arrangements are confirmed. Questions can be raised through the contact page.
